MagicPlot 2.5 starts faster than previous release. It is especially notable on old computers.
Smart limitation for undo history
The new smart limitation algorithm for undo history prevents unavoidable memory leak when processing large data sets. MagicPlot analyses the real memory consumption of each history element and remove large elements when needed.
New algorithm for peaks guessing
MagicPlot 2.5 includes new effective peak guessing algorithm which does not require setting of additional parameters.
Automated tests for processing routines
Starting MagicPlot 2.5 all tests for processing routines are automated. Automated tests also covers nonlinear fitting algorithm. Automated tests compare MagicPlot processing results with the output of other trusted data processing software. NIST data sets are used for nonlinear fitting testing.
